Grubs and other listed insects can cause extensive damage to lawns by feeding on grass roots, turning the turf brown and easily pulled up by hand. Scotts® GrubEx®1 Season Long Grub Killer, a granular insecticide, can help prevent this turf damage. A single application of this product can kill and prevent grubs for up to 4 months. Additionally, this grub killer also controls caterpillars (armyworm), chinchbugs, May/June beetles, and more, and can help manage Japanese beetle infestations when applied annually.

To effectively use Scotts® GrubEx®1 Season Long Grub Killer, apply it to a dry lawn in the spring or early summer to target grubs as they develop. It is recommended to use a Scotts® spreader for application, with settings of 3 ½ for Scotts® broadcast/rotary spreaders, 5 ½ for Scotts® drop spreaders, and 3 ¾ for Scotts® Wizz®. Thoroughly water the treated area to activate the product. People and pets can re-enter the lawn once it has dried. The maximum number of applications for this product is one per year.

One 14.35 lb. bag of Scotts® GrubEx®1 Season Long Grub Killer covers 5,000 sq. ft. of lawn. This product is not available in Florida.
